Dear Parents and Guardians:

Today is our first official Wednesday envelope. You will be receiving a hard copy envelope “most” of the Wednesdays in the school year. You will also receive an email from me that has this cover letter as well. If you are not receiving my emails, please check your spam folders. It is important that the school has your correct contact information. If you do change your email, get a new phone or mailing address you have to let the school know. Thank you in advance for this.

Cheese Days: Here are the logos for our Cheese Days shirts. Thank you so much to Eckdhal Family Dentistry for the donation of student shirts. Each student will receive a shirt next week and we would like students in 4K to wear them on Thursday, Sept. 15 and students in K-6th grade to wear them on Friday, September 16.

Cheese Days float decorating for parents only will be on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 5:30 pm at the Coplien Building located at N2577 Coplien Rd. Again, Parents Only please.

Swiss Music Children’s Concert: We will be gathering at 3:45 at school. If you would like to park in either the church lot or the school lot, we will then walk down together. If you would like to meet us on the south side of the Square you can do that as well. The concert will begin at 4:15 pm.

Children’s Parade: If you are interested in only the Children’s Parade we will be meeting at the parking lot north of the MMS. The parade will begin at 5:00 pm. Please wear your Cheese Days shirt!

Cheese Days Beer Sales: We will again be serving beverages on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10:00pm to Midnight, and on Sunday, Sept. 18 from 1:00-4:00pm. We are in need of some volunteers to help. If you are able to help us out on either shift please let me know(joepeters@stvictormonroe.org), (Saturday night we have four open spots and Sunday we are in need of about 8-10 more people). PLEASE IF YOU ARE ABLE TO HELP US OUT LET ME KNOW. We will generate $1600 for our Home and School from these two shifts.

MESs Club Sign Up: If you are interested in your child (4-5-6 grades) being part of the Math Engineering and Science Club their permission slips are due to the office by this Friday, Sept. 9. I would encourage your child to take advantage of this opportunity. Students will meet one Thursday a month from 3:15-4:30.

Parent Handbook: In today’s family envelope is the parent handbook for the 22/23 school year. Please sign and return the acknowledgement form to the school office. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at school.

Picture Day: September 21, even if you ordered your pictures online please let Mrs. Coplien know(jennic@stvictormonroe.org). All students will get their picture taken even if you do not order them.

Parish Dinner/Raffle Tickets: Today in your family envelope are raffle tickets for our parish dinner held on Sunday, October 9. Please help sell these tickets as it helps to support our parish (who takes care of almost 50% of the cost to educate your child at St. Victor School).

Sept. 23: There is no school on Friday, Sept. 23 for St. Victor School ONLY. We will be having a professional development day for teachers/staff. FYI there has been another day added to professional development by the Diocese of Madison. We will not be in school 4K-6th grade on Monday, November 14. Please plan your calendars accordingly. Thank you.

Sept. 27: The Home and School General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 6:00 pm in the school gym. This is a great time for you to get all caught up on things that are planned for the school year, and ways you can get involved. This meeting will last about an hour, and the class with the highest attendance will win a prize!

We are so excited to work with you this year! We look forward to being “BETTER TOGETHER” as our students grow not only academically but also in their faith life. If you have any questions or concerns,

please feel free to contact me at school (608)325-3395 or email (joepeters@stvictormonroe.org).

God Bless,

Joe Peters

Principal
