It was so great to experience the eclipse with our students on Monday. It was fun to watch their reaction and I appreciate the seriousness they took in wearing their glasses.
Your tuition contract for the 24-25 school year is due to the office by this Friday, April 12. Please help us out by turning these in on time. We are beginning the process of ordering materials for the year and we would like accurate numbers. If your intention about returning to St. Victor School has changed could you please let me know as well.
Parish Mission: Christ the King Pastorate will be sponsoring a Parish Mission on April 21-22-23. “Seeing is Believing” will take place the following days:
Sunday, April 21, 3:00-5:30 pm St. Victor
Monday, April 22, 6:30-9:00 pm St. Francis
Tuesday, April 23, 6:30-9:00 pm St. Victor
There is no registration needed or cost to attend. Please plan on joining us!
Open House: (from Mrs. Coplien-who hijacked Mr. Peters’ letter): In the folder, today is an invitation to Mr. Peters retirement open house. This will be held in the school gym on Thursday, May 16 4:00-7:00pm. Please come and share memories and good wishes with Mr. Peters. Also please feel free to pass the word along to past families and friends. We hope to see you there and make this a special event for all that he has done for our school and community.
Monday, April 15: Weather permitting, our students in 4-5-6 grades will be walking to Calvary Cemetery to help in spring clean-up days. This is a great service opportunity for our students. Please dress accordingly and bring gloves, rakes, etc.
There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, April 26 for St. Victor School only. This is a professional development day for teachers.
First Communion Weekend: Please continue to pray for our second graders as they prepare for the final weeks before their First Communion. There will be a rehearsal on Thursday, April 25 at 6:00 pm at church.
Home and School General Meeting: All of our parents are members of our Home and School Association. We invite you all to attend the spring general meeting on Tuesday, April 30 at 6:00 pm in the gym. We will discuss projects happening this summer, as well as updates on fundraising, and getting input on where our fundraising dollars should go. The meeting is parent-only and will last about an hour. We hope that you can join us!
Fun Friday, May 3: Our 6th graders will be putting on a Fun Friday Fundraiser for the Graduation events. The 6th graders (along with some parents) will be offering you a chance to “leave your kids” with them and “take the afternoon off”. The 6th graders will have games, activities, snacks and so much more for your kids to enjoy. There is an informational sheet to RSVP in today’s envelope. We hope you can support this wonderful fundraiser!
Vacation Bible School 2024: Registration is in today’s envelope for our VBS this summer! Mrs. Southerland has a wonderful team of people to help make this event so much fun! The dates for VBS are June 10-13 1:00-4:30 pm.

Fue genial experimentar el eclipse con nuestros estudiantes el lunes. Fue divertido observar su reacción y aprecio la seriedad que tomaron al usar sus anteojos.
Su contrato de matrícula para el año escolar 24-25 debe entregarse en la oficina antes de este viernes 12 de abril. Ayúdenos entregándolos a tiempo. Estamos comenzando el proceso de pedido de materiales para el año y nos gustaría obtener cifras precisas. Si su intención de regresar a la escuela St. Victor ha cambiado, ¿podría hacérmelo saber también?
Misión Parroquial: La Pastorada Cristo Rey patrocinará una Misión Parroquial los días 21, 22 y 23 de abril. “Ver para Creer” se llevará a cabo los siguientes días:

Casa Abierta: (de la Sra. Coplien, quien secuestró la carta del Sr. Peters):En la carpeta de hoy hay una invitación a la jornada de puertas abiertas sobre jubilación del Sr. Peter. Esto se llevará a cabo en el gimnasio de la escuela el jueves 16 de mayo de 4:00 a 7:00 p. m. Venga y comparta recuerdos y buenos deseos con el Sr. Peters. Además, siéntase libre de pasar la voz a familiares y amigos anteriores. Esperamos verlo allí y hacer de este un evento especial por todo lo que ha hecho por nuestra escuela y comunidad.
Lunes 15 de abril: Si el clima lo permite, nuestros estudiantes de 4º, 5º y 6º grado caminarán hasta el Cementerio Calvary para ayudar en los días de limpieza de primavera. Esta es una gran oportunidad de servicio para nuestros estudiantes. Vístase apropiadamente y traiga guantes, rastrillos, etc.
Habrá NO HAY CLASES el viernes 26 de abril únicamente para la escuela St. Victor. Este es un día de desarrollo profesional para los docentes.
Fin de Semana de Primera Comunión: Continúe orando por nuestros estudiantes de segundo grado mientras se preparan para las últimas semanas antes de su Primera Comunión. Habrá un ensayo el jueves 25 de abril a las 6:00 pm en la iglesia.
Asamblea General de Hogar y Escuela: Todos nuestros padres son miembros de nuestra Asociación de Hogar y Escuela. Los invitamos a todos a asistir a la reunión general de primavera el martes 30 de abril a las 6:00 pm en el gimnasio. Discutiremos los proyectos que se llevarán a cabo este verano, así como actualizaciones sobre la recaudación de fondos y recibiremos opiniones sobre dónde deberían destinarse nuestros dólares de recaudación de fondos. La reunión es sólo para padres y durará aproximadamente una hora. ¡Esperamos que pueda unirse a nosotros!
Viernes divertido, 3 de mayo: Nuestros estudiantes de sexto grado organizarán una recaudación de fondos divertida el viernes para los eventos de graduación. Los alumnos de sexto grado (junto con algunos padres) le ofrecerán la oportunidad de "dejar a sus hijos" con ellos y "tomarse la tarde libre". Los estudiantes de sexto grado tendrán juegos, actividades, refrigerios y mucho más para que disfruten sus hijos. Hay una hoja informativa para confirmar su asistencia en el sobre de hoy. ¡Esperamos que puedas apoyar esta maravillosa recaudación de fondos!
Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones 2024: ¡La inscripción está en el sobre de hoy para nuestra EBV este verano! ¡La Sra. Southerland tiene un maravilloso equipo de personas que ayudarán a que este evento sea muy divertido! Las fechas para la EBV son del 10 al 13 de junio de 1:00 a 4:30 p. m.
