Dear Parents and Guardians:
Congratulations to Brittany and Derek Klitzke on the arrival of their new daughter, Eleanor Adele on Nov. 23. We will continue to keep the entire family in our prayers. During her time off, Mr. Eric Vale will be our long term substitute teacher. Mr. Vale is a graduate of St. Victor School and a parish member. Mr. Vale did his student teaching last spring at Parkview Schools in Orfordville.
Congratulations to Brooklyn Derendinger for winning the Aster Color Contest. There were over 100 entries! Congratulations to Brooklyn!
Giving Tuesday: Thanks to those who supported our Giving Tuesday event. We are currently at $10,400! What a wonderful outpouring of support for our school! Thank you to Marci Boss and Brittany Klitzke for their work in creating videos, taking pictures, and updating posts on social media all day long. The Giving Tuesday page will be live for the next couple of days if you were unable to donate yesterday. Again, thanks to all who were generous during this event. Brunch with Santa: It is full steam ahead for our Brunch with Santa preparations. Currently we are in need of people to help decorate and set tables up on the morning of Friday, Dec. 9. If you are even able to spare an hour or two of your time it would be greatly appreciated. A reminder for families in K-6th grade you are expected to commit to working the “day of” Brunch with Santa (Dec. 10). This includes the possibility of signing up for the clean up shift as well(1:30-4:00). Please don’t forget to sell those raffle tickets as well. Finally the BWS committee is also in need of the following items: glitter, oatmeal, regular sized candy canes, and red solo cups.
Christmas Concert: The St. Victor School Christmas Concert will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 6:30 pm in the school gym. Doors will open at 6:00 pm for students and families. Please make sure your child is dressed nicely for this event. We are so excited to share the spirit of Christmas with you all!
Christmas Eve 4:00 pm Liturgy: The students have been asked to sing at the 4:00 pm Christmas Eve Liturgy! This is a great opportunity to share our wonderful love of singing with our entire parish community. Students are asked to arrive in the choir loft NO LATER THAN 3:30 PM. PLEASE PLAN to make this a wonderful Christmas tradition for your family.
SCRIP: A reminder that SCRIP is a great way to raise funds for our school as well as get much of your Christmas shopping done. We have plenty of gift cards available (or we can order them for you), you purchase the gift cards at face value and a percentage is returned back directly to St. Victor School!
