Dear Parents and Guardians:

Thanks to all who participated in our Table and Treat. We had 14 decorated tables. Congratulations to the following winners: the Speer Family, Pamela Schuppner, and Ashely Hagerty.

Christian Parenting in a Technology Driven World: On Thursday, November 10 we are excited to bring to St. Clare of Assisi Parish/St. Victor School Justin Bangert a well known Christian counselor and speaker. This is a great opportunity for parents (and 6th grade students and older) to learn about how you can continue to be a true Christian as we navigate social media and technology. The talk will begin at 6:30 pm in the new lower level at church. Child care is provided for 6 months to 5th grade. Justin will give parents and teens tools for conversations about healthy boundaries around technology. He can help you find ways to use your phones to build up your families. He will also help you limit the threats technology can pose to your children’s well-being. Through his work with clients, he is able to take the perspective of both our young people and you, as parents. Invite anyone with teens to bring them along, and please let us know if we can provide care for younger children to free you up for this great opportunity! Please plan on attending, this is a great opportunity for all of us!

Monday, Nov. 14: There will be NO SCHOOL for St. Victor School students(4K-6th grades) only on Monday, Nov. 14. Some of the faculty will be traveling to Dodgeville for a Math Professional Development day, while the other half will be traveling to St. Jerome’s in Columbus.

Thursday, Nov. 17: At the 8:15 liturgy that morning we will be welcoming the following students for the Sacrament of Baptism: Kieran, Kitra and Gemma Hays, Adalynn and Jaxon Obert, and Lincoln Bailey! What a great celebration this will be for our entire school and parish community! Please join us that morning for this celebration (and a little party afterwards as well!).

Monday, November 28: There is NO SCHOOL for 4K ONLY on this day. The School District of Monroe is also not in school that day, but there WILL BE SCHOOL for St. Victor School. NO busing but hot lunch will be provided that day.

Brunch with Santa: Please mark your calendars for Saturday, Dec. 10! We are returning back to the school gym for our in person Brunch with Santa. This event will take place at 9:00 and 11:30 am. In today’s envelope are 3 sets of raffle tickets for your family to sell. (This is part of your tuition contract, so please fulfill this obligation). If you want/need more tickets just let the office know. A reminder that per your tuition contract many of you are scheduled to work the DAY OF Brunch with Santa but we also need help leading up to the event as well. The link to sign up to volunteer is here:

Please make sure you follow through with your commitment to our school and this event.

Sickness Policy: We continue to battle a lot of different illnesses here at school a reminder of the following: If you child has any of the following symptoms: Fever over 100.9 F, green/yellow/brown mucus coming from eyes/nose or mouth(including pink eye), diarrhea or vomiting, they need to be symptom free for 24 hours before returning back to school. Thank you in advance for keeping our school healthy!

Thank you so much for your continued support of St. Victor School! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at school (608)325-3395 or email(joepeters@stvictormonroe.org).
