Dear Parents and Guardians:

As we work our way through the first full week of Advent, we HOPE and pray that our hearts are preparing for the birth of Jesus at Christmas. At St. Clare of Assisi Parish you need to SIGN UP (make a reservation for Christmas Mass times). Due to COVID numbers are limited for our masses. You can sign up at www.stclaregreencouty.org starting at 10:00 am tomorrow, December 3.

Giving Tuesday: Thank you for your generosity as we raised over $10,000 for our school! It was great to see the outpouring of support not only from our current school families, but also members in the Monroe community and beyond! Thanks to all who shared this event on their Facebook pages, this allowed us to reach a much larger market for this event. A big thank you to Klondike Cheese and Carter & Eckdhal Family Dentistry for their matching donations. I would also like to thank Marci Boss for all the effort and time put forth in making this event such a success!

Report Cards: Today students in K-5th grade are bringing home their first trimester (12 week) report card. These are located in a brown envelope with your child’s name on it, which we ask you to remove the report card and explanation sheet, sign the brown envelope and return just the envelope back to school. If you have any questions regarding report cards please reach out to your child’s teacher (or the teacher that gave them that grade).

Evening Lights with Santa: The big event is rapidly approaching! A reminder we currently have 35 school families who have not sold (or turned in) their raffle tickets. Part of your tuition contract is for you to sell the appropriate tickets to help us out. PLEASE help in this aspect. Also, you should have received an email from me if you indicated that you would help for our event. We need bodies to make this event successful. The buzz in the community is HUGE, so we want to make sure we provide a wonderful experience for our community.

SCRIP Orders: Thanks to those who continue to use this easy fundraiser for our students and school! If you need SCRIP cards by Christmas (they make great gifts), please make sure that you get your orders into the office by December 14 to ensure Christmas arrival.

Calendar Change: A reminder that there is NO SCHOOL for St. Victor on Wednesday, December 23. This differs from the original calendar sent this past summer. Thank you in advance for supporting this change.Thank you so much for your help in keeping our students safe and healthy. A reminder if anyone in your family has symptoms or awaiting test results students should be kept home. This allows us all to continue to be safe and healthy. Please know how much we appreciate all that your family does to support our school and its mission. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call or email.

God Bless,

Joe Peters
