Dear Parents of St. Victor School Students:
Happy New Year! We hope that your Christmas Break was one of great rest and a good time away from school!
We are excited to get back to face to face instruction and remind you that if your child is not feeling well, please keep them home from school. If they (or anyone in your family is waiting for the results of a COVID test) your child should not be in school until a negative result comes back.
From the Green County Health Department: The community COVID testing site has been relocated to 652 8th Street in Monroe (the Colony Brands Outlet Store) the corner of 8th St and Hwy 69. Testing will continue to be offered three days a week: Mondays 9-1, Wednesdays 2-6, Thursdays 9-1. You need to sign up online prior to getting tested at gcpublichealth.org and click on “Sign up for COVID-19 Testing”.
Snow Days/Inclement Weather: A reminder that as long as the School District of Monroe is in any type of in person instruction, they will make all calls regarding “no school due to weather”. They make this decision in consultation with Lamers Bus Garage. You should receive information from the School District when this takes place, as well as an email/text from St. Victor School.
Monday, Feb. 8: There will be NO SCHOOL for St. Victor School only on Monday, Feb. 8. This is a scheduled inservice through the Diocese of Madison. Please enjoy that long weekend!
Mardi Gras Madness, Saturday, March 13: We are moving full steam ahead on our virtual Mardi Gras experience! This will be an interactive night that will be family friendly. We again are in need of you to sell the raffle tickets that were sent home right before Christmas break, please turn those into the office as soon as possible. We also are looking for items that have a connection to our school community, families, or students, These items do well in our silent auction. One of a kind items usually brings great interests. Be creative! If you have any questions about the event, please do not hesitate to contact school. Thanks in advance for your support of this event and our school.
Cafeteria News: We welcome Mrs. Christi McKibben to our hot lunch program! She will be replacing Mrs. Hyland who retired in December after 9 years of service. We look forward to Mrs. McKibben working with our school community.
