Dear Parents and Guardians:
A most Happy Easter to all of you! I hope and pray that your time away from school was filled with great celebration of the Risen Christ. I hope that your time with family and friends was also wonderful. Congratulations to our 4-5-6 graders on their amazing performance at the All City Choral Concert before spring break. It was a joy to watch them sign and knock the socks off the rest of our larger Monroe community.
Tuition Contracts 24-25: These documents are to be returned to the office by Friday, April 12. Please keep this date in mind as we are beginning the process of ordering materials for the 24-25 school year, and accurate numbers help in the process. If you are not planning to return to St. Victor School for the fall, please also let the office or myself know.
Upcoming Music Events (from Ms. Blanc):
Thursday, May 2 at 1:30 and 6 p.m. “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at our school gym. Families and friends are invited to attend either the 1:30 or 6 p.m. show(or both). That night will also be our Art Fair! The school will be open after school until the time of the musical! We hope that you can join us for a night of amazing fine arts at St. Victor School!
Sunday, May 5: 2 p.m. Concert Opening Act at Monroe Arts Center for grades 4-5-6. ALL 4-5-6 students are needed to sing, please!
Sunday, May 12 at 10:00 am students(K-6th) will be singing at mass. Please plan to join us for this wonderful Mother’s Day gift.
Wednesday, May 22: 6:30 p.m. Spring Concert for all students at Twining Park Band Shell
I would ask for your prayers for the Skip Brennan family(especially Mrs. Schluesche-Skip’s daughter). Skip passed away on Tuesday, March 26. His funeral will be this Saturday, April 6. Skip was a graduate of St. Victor School and this school held a strong place in his heart. He will be missed.
Thank you so much for your support of our Fish Frys this past Lenten season. We sold out each time!(that’s over 1200 fish dinners over the four Fridays) Thanks so much to Mrs. Coplien and Mrs. Watson for their hard work and leadership for these events. We look forward to great participation next year as well!
Finally, I would like to share with you all that Ms. Blanc has been offered and accepted the full-time music position elsewhere. She will complete the school year as our Music and Band teacher. We appreciate Cindy’s dedication and commitment to making our music program the best in the city! She has taught us all so much about how singing is a lifelong sport. She will be missed greatly! It is always a blessing to have been taught by such an incredible teacher for the past 25 years! The process of hiring a new Music/Band teacher will begin shortly. If you know of anyone who may be interested in this position please reach out to me and let me know.

Queridos padres y guardianes:
¡Feliz Pascua para todos vosotros! Espero y oro para que su tiempo fuera de la escuela esté lleno de una gran celebración del Cristo Resucitado. Espero que tu tiempo con familiares y amigos también haya sido maravilloso. Felicitaciones a nuestros estudiantes de 4-5-6 grado por su increíble actuación en el Concierto Coral de All City antes de las vacaciones de primavera. Fue un placer verlos firmar y sorprender al resto de nuestra gran comunidad de Monroe.
Contratos de Matrícula 24-25: Estos documentos deben devolverse a la oficina antes del viernes 12 de abril. Tenga en cuenta esta fecha ya que estamos comenzando el proceso de pedido de materiales para el año escolar 24-25, y los números precisos ayudan en el proceso. Si no planea regresar a la escuela St. Victor para el otoño, infórmeselo también a la oficina o a mí.

Ella nos ha enseñado a todos mucho sobre cómo cantar es un deporte para toda la vida. ¡La extrañaremos mucho! ¡Siempre es una bendición haber sido enseñado por un maestro tan increíble durante los últimos 25 años!
