Dear Parents and Guardians:

Thank you so much for those who donated to the Christmas Stocking program. We gathered many items for those families in need.  This week our 5th grade students went to help move many of the items for the Christmas Stocking families.

As winter quickly approaches a reminder that your child needs to be dressed appropriately.  This includes (once the snow flies) boots, snow pants, hats, gloves, winter coats. We ask that they be dressed when they are dropped off for school, as we will be going outside unless the temperature is too cold (0 degrees actual or feels like 0).

Battle of the Books Date Change:  The new date for our school wide Battle of the Books competition will be Tuesday, January 29. We will begin at 9:30 in the morning. The winning team will move onto the competition in Janesville on Tuesday, February 12 (time TBD).

Turkey Skate:  A reminder our annual Turkey Skate will be held on Wednesday, November 21 from 4:30-6:30 at the Roller Den. This event is free for your family. Skate rental and admission fee are being paid for by the  Home and School Social Activities Committee.  The snack bar will be open if you would like to purchase food that night. Please plan on joining us for some pre-Thanksgiving fun!

Brunch with Santa:  This wonderful holiday event will be here before you know it!  Please make sure if you want to attend this event you get your tickets before they are all sold out!  Also a reminder that each of our school families (Kindergarten through Fifth Grade) need to sign up to work either the “day of” Brunch with Santa or the “day of” Mardi Gras. Please make sure you follow through on your commitment to make these events so successful for our school community. Finally, a reminder to please sell your raffle tickets!

SCRIP: If you are going to place an order for SCRIP for your Black Friday shopping these orders need to be placed by Friday, Nov. 16. Please continue to support our SCRIP program which is a very easy way to raise funds for our school.  If you have questions about SCRIP, please feel free to call school, 325-3395.

Thank you so much for your continued support of St. Victor School. We are blessed to be part of this amazing community. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call school, 325-3395 or email joepeters@stvictormonroe.org.

God Bless,

Joe Peters
