Dear Parents and Guardians:
We will continue wearing masks for all students, per the decision of the School District this past Monday night. A reminder to please keep your child home if they are not feeling well. Our goals continue to keep students and staff safe as well as stay with in person learning.
September 24: There is NO SCHOOL for St. Victor School only on Friday, September 24. Please enjoy your long weekend.
Picture Day: Please make sure you return your picture form to the office, even if you ordered online. Jenni needs to keep track of all order forms. We are working with a new company and this is their procedure. Thanks in advance for this.
Bishop Hying Visit: We will welcome Bishop Hying to St. Clare of Assisi Parish on Sunday, Sept. 26 and Monday, Sept. 27. He will be doing a mission style talk both nights for adults of the parish. On Monday, Sept. 27 he will be saying mass at 8:30 for our students (and families). We are all asked to make a prayer promise for the success of Bishop Hying’s visit. There is a card located in today’s family envelope, we ask that you fill it out and return to church this weekend, or back to school (for those non-Catholic families who will not be here over the weekend).
ALICE: In today’s family envelope is the letter that talks about our “intruder in the building” procedures. Please take time to read over this letter and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at school.
Grandparents Day Block Party: The Home and School Board has decided to move Grandparents Day to Friday October 8.(please note this is a change in our calendar from Oct. 7 to Oct. 8) For this event to be safe for all attendees we are going to create a “block party” feel and close down 15th St in front of St. Victor School. This will allow ample space for Grandparents and grandchildren to visit as well as share refreshments. There will be a short program by students in K-5th grade. More specific details will be coming, but wanted to make sure that all families of students in grades K-5th would have the date and get it out to the appropriate folks.
