Dear Parents and Guardians:

We will be singing for the United Way Event on this Thursday, Nov. 10 at 5:45 at the Ludlow Mansion. We hope that your child will be able to join us as we share our wonderful school theme and gift of music with our community. You will have plenty of time in between singing and the guest speaker at 6:30 pm at our parish. If your child will join us singing we ask they wear their black Cheese Days shirts. We truly are BETTER TOGETHER!

Congratulations to the following SCRIP contest winners: 1st Place-Katie Boone 2nd Place-Tara Kammes. A reminder that SCRIP is a great way to do your Christmas shopping! Please contact the school office if you have questions.

Circle of Grace Safe Environment Program: We again will be doing the Diocesan approved Safe Environment curriculum for students in grades K-6th grade in the next couple of weeks. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at school. I encourage you to follow up with your child upon completion of these lessons.

Thursday, Nov. 10 at 6:30 PM: Christian Parenting in a Technology Driven World: The talk will begin at 6:30 pm in the new lower level at church. Child care is provided for 6 months to 5th grade. Justin will give parents and teens tools for conversations about healthy boundaries around technology. He can help you find ways to use your phones to build up your families. He will also help you limit the threats technology can pose to your children’s well-being. Through his work with clients, he is able to take the perspective of both our young people and you, as parents. Invite anyone with teens to bring them along, and please let us know if we can provide care for younger children to free you up for this great opportunity!

Monday, Nov. 14: There will be NO SCHOOL for St. Victor School students(4K-6th grades) only on Monday, Nov. 14. Some of the faculty will be traveling to Dodgeville for a Math Professional Development day, while the other half will be traveling to St. Jerome’s in Columbus.

Thursday, Nov. 17: At the 8:15 liturgy that morning we will be welcoming the following students for the Sacrament of Baptism: Kieran, Kitra and Gemma Hays, Adalynn and Jaxon Obert, and Lincoln Bailey! What a great celebration this will be for our entire school and parish community! Please join us that morning for this celebration (and a little party afterwards as well!).

Monday, November 28: There is NO SCHOOL for 4K ONLY on this day. The School District of Monroe is also not in school that day, but there WILL BE SCHOOL for St. Victor School(students Kindergarten through Sixth Grade). NO busing but hot lunch will be provided that day.
