Dear Parents and Guardians:
Thanks to all who helped or drove thru our March 4 Fish Fry. We served 450 meals that night! There will be three more for you to participate in: March 18, April 1, April 15. If you would like to help out with any of these nights, please contact Jenni (608)325-3395.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade: We will be participating in this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. We will gather on the west side of Suisse Haus, please arrive between 4:45 and 5:00. The parade will begin at 5:17. Please wear your green and join as we spread the luck of the Irish to all those we meet! Parents should be accompanying their children (and your extended family can walk as well).
Friday, March 18: We will be celebrating our movie and popcorn party for our raffle ticket sales on Friday, March 18. We will be watching Homeward Bound and enjoying a great time in the gym! We will designate that as a special PJ day, so we can enjoy the movie in a comfortable way!
April 2, A Night at the Drive In: The Home and School is sponsoring a “Night at the Drive In” after the 4:30 pm mass. Students will be participating in the mass by being in the choir. If they are going to sing we ask them to be at the church by 4:20. For the drive in we are asking families, if able to, to decorate a box that would act like a “car” for your child(ren) to sit in while watching the movie.(They wouldn’t have to spend the whole time sitting in the box, but just a fun thing to do) There will be a car decorating contest. There will be food ($2.00 per person): corn dogs, chips, fruit, cookies, popcorn, and lemonade.
Monroe School District Summer School: Online books are available beginning Monday, March 14. Online registration will begin on March 29 at 10:00 am.
As we continue our Lenten journey I hope and pray that you are finding ways to grow closer to Jesus during these 40 days. I would encourage your family to get to mass on the weekends during the season of Lent, there will be a Communal Penance next Wednesday, March 16 beginning at 5:30(this might be a great time for you to get back to the Sacrament of Reconciliation). Please know how much I appreciate your support of our school and parish community. We are blessed to be part of this amazing school!
