Dear Parents and Guardians:

It is hard to believe that we are already in March! I know that days can be a little confusing temperature wise, if you would please continue to send your child with their snow pants and boots that would make it easier for all of us (as there is still snow on the ground, as well as a ton of mud around). Thanks again for keeping your child home if they are symptomatic.

Report Cards: You will be receiving your child’s second trimester report card. I would ask that you take the report card out of the brown envelope, sign and return the envelope and keep the report card. If you have any questions about grades, please contact your child’s teacher.

Mardi Gras Madness: Today is the last day for you to order your Mardi Gras Madness Party Pack! Each pack is $15 which includes a pizza, beverages, poster board, t-shirts and more! You do not need to have a party pack to participate in the fun on Saturday, March 13. For this event to be successful I would encourage you to share the information, website, auction details with family and friends near and far! The more traffic that moves to our site, the more auction bids, the more successful the evening is! I can’t thank you enough for your support of this event! The link to order a party pack is: http://svschoolmardigras.itemorder.com/

COVID Vaccines: This Friday, March 5 faculty and staff members will be receiving their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. We thank Green County Public Health and the School District of Monroe for their help in making this happen. We are scheduled to receive our second dose on Monday, April 5.

Spring Break Quarantine: As spring break approaches, we will be following the guidelines of the School District of Monroe regarding traveling. If your family is traveling internationally for spring break, you are asked to quarantine for two weeks upon return. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at school.

Fish Fry Fridays: This Friday begins our Fish Fry Season. The fish fry this year is drive through only. You will pull up to school on 15th St., place your order and pull into the parking lot and someone will bring it out to you. There will be two meal choices. A baked meal includes two pieces of baked fish, baked potato and a potato pancake. A fried meal includes two pieces of fried fish, french fries and a potato pancake. All meals include coleslaw, tarter, applesauce, roll and a dessert. Fish Frys are a great way to support the life of our parish community (which provides so much for your children through their support).

Thank you so much for your continued support of St. Victor School. We are ⅔ of the way through the school year! Let’s all work together to finish this school year strong! If you have any questions or concerns, please dont hesitate to call me at school or email.

God Bless,

Joe Peters

Principal
