Dear Parents and Guardians:
I would like to thank you all for your amazing support of our Mardi Gras Madness event! We had a great night raising over $50,000 for our school! The effort put forth by the committee(Marci Boss, Katrina Jackson, Mike Jerge, Kate Leverton, Carrie Mortimer, Sarah Schindler, Danyell Stevenson, and Hattie Stuessy) was so appreciated. Also a huge shout out to Joe Tomasiewicz and Robert Hille who handled the technology and filming of the night. Thanks as well to Hugo Espinoza and Tom Nelson for providing music and announcer skills. Finally to our wonderful 5th graders who did an amazing job representing our school community with their singing, basketball skills and overall enthusiasm for our school!
The “live event” was fun, and the auction was filled with great items from so many generous donors. We had bidders from Arizona, to International Falls, to West Virginia to Florida! It is truly awesome to see the wonderful support and commitment to our school community! We are blessed to be part of something pretty amazing here at St. Victor School! Thank you!
Fish Fry: We will again be having a drive thru Fish Fry this Friday, March 19 from 4:30-7:00 pm. We ran out last time. We have ordered more fish to help with this problem but we recommend you get here early!
Spring Break Quarantine: As spring break approaches, we will be following the guidelines of the School District of Monroe regarding traveling. If your family is traveling internationally for spring break, you are asked to quarantine for two weeks upon return. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at school.
April 5 and 6: An email was sent yesterday with the schedule for those two days. Due to COVID vaccine side effects we will be in person on April 5 and virtual on April 6. Thank you so much for your understanding, and please plan wisely for those days.
Jump Rope for Heart: Thank you so much for your support of this program! Our school raised $278.32 for the American Heart Association. Congratulations to First Grade for collecting the most!
Thank you so much for your continued support of our school! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at school.
God Bless,
Joe Peters
Principal
