Dear Parents and Guardians:
As we hopefully say goodbye to winter, students can keep their snow pants at home. I would ask them to still have boots as our playground is muddy.
With today’s family envelope is your tuition contract/commitment for the 2022-23 school year. There is a lot of information in this packet, so please take time to read it over carefully. We ask that your tuition contracts be returned by April 8. This is considered your registration form for the 2022-23 school year. We will place our orders for materials, scheduling and other important decisions based on these numbers. If for some reason you are not planning to return to St. Victor School for the fall, I would ask that you please let me know. Scholarship opportunities are available for each family, but you do need to make sure you fill out the tuition assistance form located in the packet. As always, if you have any questions, please make sure you reach out to me.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade: We will be participating in this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. We will gather on the west side of Suisse Haus, please arrive between 4:45 and 5:00. The parade will begin at 5:17. Please wear your green and join as we spread the luck of the Irish to all those we meet! Parents should be accompanying their children (and your extended family can walk as well).
April 2, A Night at the Drive In: The Home and School is sponsoring a “Night at the Drive In” after the 4:30 pm mass. Students will be participating in the mass by being in the choir. When we sing at mass and do the liturgical roles, it is a great example of the amazing things our school brings to the larger parish community(which provides so much for our school). So hopefully your children can join us in the choir. If they are going to sing we ask them to be at the church by 4:20. For the drive in we are asking families, if able to, to decorate a box that would act like a “car” for your child(ren) to sit in while watching the movie.(They wouldn’t have to spend the whole time sitting in the box, but just a fun thing to do) There will be a car decorating contest. You can click on the link to RSVP for the night: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc99X4F4W7jgqB0AoLlFxs3a0e54yhU5TgNr0R0f-j0JG1j6A/viewform?usp=sf_link
There will be food ($2.00 per person): corn dogs, chips, fruit, cookies, popcorn, and lemonade.
Monroe School District Summer School: Online books are available now. Online registration will begin on March 29 at 10:00 am.
Spring Break: Please enjoy your time away from school next week. Use it as a time to get refreshed and relaxed as we make the final push toward the end of the year! If you are traveling, please travel safely.
Thank you so much for all that you do for our school and parish community. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at school (608)325-3395 or email me at joepeters@stvictormonroe.org
God Bless,
