Dear Parents and Guardians:

Mardi Gras Madness: The big week is here! Mardi Gras Madness is just around the corner! The event will take place online this Saturday, March 13 from 7:00-9:00 pm. Thanks to those who ordered their party packs. You can pick them up at the Suisse Haus between 5:00-7:00 tonight and tomorrow night. A reminder that anyone can participate in this event. So I would strongly encourage you to share the link to the auction: charityauction.bid/svschoolmardigras

The silent auction will be the main way we raise money for our school community. There will be opportunities for your family to participate in the evening events as well. We have an incredibly cool “mystery prize” that is valued over $1000, a ticket for this mystery prize is $25, and you can purchase one at our auction website. Please make sure all your raffle tickets are in by Friday, March 12, we will be drawing the winner LIVE during Mardi Gras Madness!

Each school family will receive a poster board on Thursday for you to take home and decorate. You can post your families art work by using the hashtag #svsmardigras, let’s fill our feed with great posters supporting our school. We will also be sending home “virtual bingo cards” which will allow you a chance to be interactive during the night as well. A reminder you(or anyone you know) can watch the events of the night by visiting our webpage www.stclaregreencounty.org or going to our Facebook page.

In today’s family envelope is a “hard copy” of all the auction items, directions on the night’s events, as well as how to work through the auction. Thanks so much for your support of this event, we look forward to a great night of fun!

Congratulations to the following students for their first place finishes in the Catholic Daughters of America Contest: Poetry-Allen Gerrits, Art-Eden Greely, Computer Art-Isaac Leverton, Essay-Elizabeth Veeder. Their winning entries will now move on to the state level competition.

Fish Fry: Thank you to all who helped or attended the fish fry! We had a record number of over 500 meals sold! The drive thru worked well. If you are able to help out on the night of March 19 (adults only) please let Jenni know.

Please continue to monitor your children for COVID like symptoms, if they are not feeling well, please keep them home until they are symptom free. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out via email joepeters@stvictormonroe.org or by phone (608)325-3395. Thank you so much for your continued support of our school, its mission, and our students and staff.

God Bless,

Joe Peters
