Dear Parents and Guardians:

I am so excited for our Evening Lights with Santa this Saturday. I appreciate the work of the committee: Tasha Meier, Andrea Speer, Jill Swenson, Val Coplien, and Tia Long. They have put in countless hours to move from our Brunch with Santa to this opportunity to spread joy throughout the community. Thank you in advance for your work in helping make this happen. I appreciate your volunteer hours, as well as the selling of the raffle tickets (please turn yours in tomorrow). A reminder that all volunteers need to wear masks during their shifts. The night of the event, please park on the streets surrounding the fairgrounds. It sounds like we may have some snow to help make the night even more special, so please dress appropriately. A reminder if you are having your child help you that night, you are responsible for them, and we can’t have children running around the fairgrounds unsupervised. It really takes an entire community to pull off something this wonderful and amazing, please know how much I appreciate it.

SCRIP: We are excited to welcome several new local SCRIP vendors to our program! We welcome Bullquarian Brewhouse, Busy Bee Floral(Deb and Joe Hillary), Tacos Martinez, and 213 Mercantile(Terra and Barry Junk). What a great way to not only support our school but also these local generous businesses! You need to have your SCRIP order placed by the end of the day on December 14 to ensure delivery for Christmas! PLEASE help support our school by supporting our SCRIP program. I have attached a new SCRIP order form in this week’s email.

Christmas Break: Our Christmas break will begin after classes on Tuesday, December 22. There will be NO SCHOOL from December 23 until January 3. Classes will resume on Monday, January 4.

Thank you so much for your continued mitigation and diligence in keeping your children and our school running safely. A reminder if your child is experiencing any symptoms: fever, cough, congestion, headache, runny nose, loss of taste or smell, or a combination of any of these we encourage strongly to keep your children home and get them tested. Also if a family member is symptomatic or is waiting for COVID test results you should be keeping your children home.

We continue to work hard to provide the best possible education for our children. We appreciate your commitment to our mission and school. If you do have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out via email(joepeters@stvictormonroe.org) or call (325-3395) school.

God Bless,

Joe Peters

Principal
