Dear Parents and Guardians:

We have made it to Christmas (almost)! Thank you so much for all that you have done to make this first part of the school year 21-22 such a success!

You should have received two separate emails yesterday from me:

  1. Concert Details-time, behavior, expectations, etc.

  2. Changes in COVID protocol beginning Jan. 3

Hot Lunch: A reminder that we will begin our collaboration with Monroe School District for hot lunch beginning Jan. 3. The lunch menu is located in today’s family envelope. Please disregard the breakfast side of the menu, as we are not participating in that program. A snack menu for the month of January will be created and sent home during the first week of January. Again, I would like to thank Heather Watson for helping us out this past month! Mrs. McKibben and Mrs. Watson have done a great job this past month in our cafeteria.

Winter Gear: Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather!(LABEL EVERYTHING IF POSSIBLE) When we get measurable snow, they will need boots and snow pants. They should also have hats and gloves. We will plan on being outside as long as the actual temperature and windchill are above 0 degrees. Christmas break may be a good time to make sure you have all the clothing that your child needs for winter.

Christmas Eve Liturgy: St. Victor School students have the wonderful opportunity to lead the singing at 4 p.m. Mass Christmas Eve at St. Victor Church. All students K-5 are invited to participate in this liturgy as song leaders. Singers in grades 3-4-5 are especially needed. Students are asked to arrive at church between 3 and 3:30 p.m., and parents will want to do the same to secure a seat for this well-attended Mass. This is a great way to represent our school to the parish community that gives so much to our children.

St. Clare of Assisi Christmas Mass Times: For those of you not attending the 4:00 pm mass, here are the other options:

Friday, Dec. 24 4:00, 6:00, 8:00 and Midnight

Saturday, Dec. 25 9:00 am

We hope and pray that you will be able to spend some time in church celebrating the true meaning of this season, the birth of Jesus!

May your time this Christmas be filled with celebrating with family and friends. On behalf of all of us at St. Victor School and St. Clare of Assisi Parish, we wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

God Bless,

Joe Peters

Principal
