Dear Parents and Guardians:
Please a reminder that if you(or anyone in your family is getting tested for COVID) we ask that you keep your children home. This will limit the number of quarantines that we need to enforce at school. Thank you so much for continuing to keep your child (and other children) safe.
Report Cards/STAR scores: In today’s family envelope is the report card for students in K-5th grade for the first trimester. Also included are the STAR scores from November testing, for both of these items we ask that you keep the reports but return the brown envelope signed (which makes us aware you have received these). If you have any questions about grades or STAR scores please contact your child’s teacher.
Giving Tuesday Update: Thank you so much for your generous support of Giving Tuesday. At this point we were able to $7,353!(which was 98% of our goal) That is a great total! On behalf of St. Victor School we thank our families and friends who supported this fundraiser. We also thank Klondike Cheese and Eckdhal Family Dentistry for their matching donations. If you still have family members that would like to give, the site is still active.
Lights with Santa: Thank you so much for those who have signed up for a shift to help. We are currently in need of volunteers for Thursday, Dec. 9 from 9:00-3:00 at the Fairgrounds. PLEASE if you could spare any time during this day to help out, it would be greatly appreciated. There are plenty of raffle tickets yet to sell, if you need more packs, please let Jenni know and she can send them home. A reminder, many of you signed up to help with Brunch with Santa as part of your tuition contract. Christmas Concert: As of now, the plan will be for the in person Christmas Concert to be held on Wednesday, Dec. 22 with two performances at 1:00 and 6:30 pm in the church. A reminder that our church is a sacred space, and we would ask that you show reverence when in this space (no hats, no food, etc.). I would encourage you to have some family members that are able to (grandparents, aunts and uncles) attend the 1:00 pm. We are looking forward to a wonderful night of music and fun.
Christmas Eve Liturgy: St. Victor School students have the wonderful opportunity to lead the singing at 4 p.m. Mass Christmas Eve at St. Victor Church. All students K-5 are invited to participate in this liturgy as song leaders. Singers in grades 3-4-5 are especially needed. Students are asked to arrive at church between 3 and 3:30 p.m., and parents will want to do the same to secure a seat for this well-attended Mass. This is a great way to represent our school to the parish community that gives so much to our children.
PEP Donations: Thank you so much for those who have donated the past several months for the Personal Essentials Pantry. This month of December we are lip balm/chapsticks. If you are able to donate new items, please send them to school.
