Dear Parents and Guardians:
Happy Easter! I hope and pray that the joy of the Easter season will continue to resonate with your family in the weeks ahead. What a beautiful time of year to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. As spring begins, a reminder about dress code. Students do not need boots anymore. Also, please be aware of the length of the shorts your child is wearing. Students need to be able to hold their arms to the side of their body, and if the shorts are shorter than their fingertips, the shorts are too short and we will be calling you to bring new shorts for them to wear. Also, if a child wears sandals they need to have a back strap and socks need to be worn at all times. I encourage you strongly to check your child on the way out to school to make sure they are dressed appropriately. Thank you in advance for your support of this.
Summer School: Do not forget that the Registration for Summer School began on Tuesday, April 6 at 9:00 am. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Summer School Office 328-7400.
Tuition Contracts: A reminder that your tuition contract for the 2021-22 school year is due Friday, April 9. If your intentions about attending St. Victor School for the fall of 2021 has changed, please let us know. We will soon begin with schedules and ordering for next year. If you have any questions about the contract, please feel free to contact me.
Final Fish Fry: Thanks for those who have supported our two previous fish frys. We have been breaking records each time! The final one will be on Friday, April 9 (note this is a change from the original schedule). The time will again be from 4:30-7:00 pm, drive thru only! If you would like to help out, please contact Jenni at school!
SCRIP: Spring is a great time to get into a new habit (or a returning habit) of using SCRIP for all your purchases. A reminder when you purchase SCRIP cards at face value a percent of that purchase comes back to our Home and School Association! There is information attached to this email regarding the Raise Right program. This is where you are able to order your SCRIP cards online and use them from your digital wallet. It is an easy way to purchase and use. If you have any questions about the SCRIP program, please feel free to contact the office. It is such an easy way to support your child’s education and school. Attached to this email is a flyer for our Last Push SCRIP Contest. We would really appreciate your support and help to achieve our goal.
Spring Concert: I am excited to announce that we will be doing our Spring Concert this year at the Twining Park Band Shelter on Wednesday, May 26. Many more details will be coming, but please mark this on your calendar. This location will allow for social distancing as well as the ability for all of us to be outside.
Home and School General Meeting: We will be having our spring annual meeting on Tuesday, April 27 at 6:00 pm in the gym. We will review the year, and discuss the projects that are planned for the summer, as well as future projects and events. We currently have two board positions available for the next two school years: Social Activities and Fundraising. If you would like to be part of the Home and School Board (which meets one time a month for about an hour each meeting), please feel free to reach out to me and let me know you are interested. We hope to see many of you at our meeting on Tuesday, April 27.
Again I encourage you to monitor your children for COVID symptoms, if your child is symptomatic please keep them home from school. We want to keep working hard to keep in person instruction going!
