Dear Parents and Guardians:
The weather has a way of playing good tricks on all of us. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately (more for warmth than anything).
Congratulations to the cast, crew and directing staff of King George and the Ducky! It was an amazing fun show that showed off our students’ talents. Thank you so much to Miss Blanc, Mrs. Sutherland, Mrs. Schluesche and Mrs. Cooper for their help. Thank you also to Busy Bee Floral for the donations of flowers. I am so proud of everyone. A special SHOUT OUT to Libby Swenson and Matthew Gordon who practiced so many hours learning their lines but were unable to join us due to sickness. We appreciate all they did to make our show great leading up to the performances!
Please turn in your tuition contract for the 2023-24 school year, they were due last Friday, April 14.
Severe Weather: This week will be the statewide Tornado Drill. We will practice this at school on Thursday, April 20. It is also a great time to visit with your children about what to do at home in case of severe weather. Make sure they know where they are going and your family has a plan.
Home and School General Meeting: Our spring general meeting will be held next Tuesday, April 25 at 6:00 pm in the school gym. This meeting will allow you to review what H&S has done this year, and what plans are ahead for the upcoming summer and school year. We will also have a few board positions that we will be looking to fill. If you are interested in serving on our Home and School Board helping plan and carry out events that enhance the life of our school and community please consider being a board member. The meeting is parent only and will last about an hour. Please plan on joining us!
Mark your Calendars - Friday, April 28th
The 6th grade class is raising funds for their spring class trip to Milwaukee. Give your school-aged kids an extra afternoon of fun with their friends!! Our 6th graders (and a few of their parents) will "baby-sit" your kids from 1:10 to 5pm on Friday, April 28th, so you can get a few extra hours of work in, run errands, or relax!! Activities for the afternoon will include outdoor games and playground time (maybe even a trip to the park), snacks, dancing, crafts, and more! Participating students will be brought to the gym after school and can be picked up from the school playground anytime from 4pm to 5pm (weather-permitting, alternate is school lobby).
RSVP is required to the school office (a form is in this week’s family envelope). Suggested donation of $10/kid will be due at pick up on the afternoon of April 28th.
6th Grade Basket Raffle: There is information in today’s family envelope inviting your family to purchase raffle tickets to help offset the cost of our 6th grade graduation. Please consider purchasing some tickets for a chance to win an amazing basket.
Thank you so much for all you do to support St. Victor School. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to email or call.
God Bless,
Joe Peters
