Mrs. Molly Minogue
Hello and welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Molly Minogue. I have been teaching at St. Victor school for 9 years. My family and I have lived in Monroe for 25 years. I have been married to my husband Neal for 31 years and we have three sons. Keenan is 28, Max is 26 and Ben is 24. Keenan teaches theater and scenic design classes at at a private college in Memphis TN. Max is in the US Army, and is currently stationed in AK . Ben is a Resident Hall Director at Northern Illinois University.
I began my teaching career in 1988, teaching Early Childhood Special Education. When we started our family I stayed home with my three sons for 8 years and loved every minute of it! When they were all in school, I joined the workforce again and went back to school for my Regular Education degree, and have since taught 2nd and 3rd grade reading and math at Northside Elementary, worked for Wisconsin Early Autism Project, held the Title 1 position here at St. Victor for 2 years and taught 4K for many years, here at St. Victor, as well as at another community based site in Monroe. As many of your children know, I enjoy reading, plants/gardening and owls.
Kindergarten will be a big adjustment for your child. A full day, eating lunch at school, some new faces and a new curriculum. I am confident that they will all make the transition smoothly, and will have fun filled days full of learning, growing and playing. Thank you for sharing your little treasures with me. I promise I will take care of them as if they were my own:)
Please contact me by phone, e-mail or a note in the daily folder if you have any questions or concerns.
