Rite of Christian Initiation

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults  (RCIA)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is for unbaptized adults who seek initiation into the Catholic Church through Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. RCIA is also for adults who are baptized, whether Catholic or not, and seek full initiation into the Catholic Church through Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Confirmation. While the RCIA process is primarily for these groups, all parishioners and guests who want to update their faith are welcome to attend our weekly meetings on Tuesday evening in the parish Gathering Space at 5:30 p.m.

Growing in Faith Together (GIFT)

Growing in Faith Together (GIFT) is a process of faith formation designed to help children older than the typical age of reception prepare to receive sacraments and become fully initiated into the Church.  Here at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, most children prepare to receive their First Reconciliation and First Eucharist in the second grade.  Older children who have not yet received these sacraments, or may not be baptized, participate in weekly classes through GIFT to prepare for their sacraments and a full life in the Church.  Please contact Ann O'Leary at annoleary@stclaregreencounty.org or (608) 325-9506 for more information.
